Crew rowing is an impact-free sport that gives you
a complete exercise package. The smooth and rhythmic motion
of rowing exercises all the muscle groups in the arms, legs,
back, abdomen and buttocks. It provides aerobic and strength
conditioning and helps with weight-loss.
All you need is a thick pair of socks, t-shirt, bike
shorts or track pants and a warm top during the winter. The Y
Rowing Centre will provide the rest including new olympic-style
rowing shells and expert tuition.
